Latte doré au curcuma
Le haldi doodh classique, fait correctement : curcuma révélé dans le ghee, fini au miel brut.
- 10 minutes
- Serves 2

What you need
- 1 tsp Turmeric powderTurmeric Powder125,00 Rs
- 1 tsp A2 cow gheeA2 Cow Ghee999,00 Rs
- 2 tsp Raw multifloral honeyMiel Toutes Fleurs499,00 Rs
- 2 cups Milk of your choice
- a pinch Black pepper, freshly cracked
- to taste Cinnamon or cardamom (optional)
3 of these are ours — the rest you will have at home.
How to make it
- 01
Warm the ghee in a small pan on low heat and stir in the turmeric and pepper. Let it sizzle gently for thirty seconds — blooming the turmeric in fat is what the teabag versions skip.
- 02
Pour in the milk and whisk until steaming but not boiling.
- 03
Take it off the heat, let it cool for a minute, then stir in the honey (never boil honey).
- 04
Pour, dust with cinnamon, and drink while warm.
Le haldi doodh précède de loin le « latte doré » des cafés — et la méthode traditionnelle, révéler le curcuma dans le ghee avec du poivre noir, est aussi celle qui respecte l'épice. Dix minutes, deux tasses.
