Himalayan Pink Salt
Rock salt mined from ancient seabed deposits in the Himalayan foothills, where trace minerals — chiefly iron oxide — give the crystals their characteristic pink blush. The colour varies from near-white to deep rose within the same batch, because it comes from the rock rather than from anything added. Unrefined and simply crushed, it dissolves a little more slowly than table salt and carries a rounder, less aggressive salinity, which is why many cooks prefer it for finishing.

How to Use

Directions of Use

- Store in a dry, airtight container — like all unrefined salt it draws moisture and can clump.
- Break up any clumping with a dry spoon; it does not affect quality.
- Note: this salt is NOT iodised. If your household relies on salt for iodine, keep an iodised salt alongside it.
