Papaya Powder
Ripe papaya, dried and milled into a soft orange powder that smells exactly like the fresh fruit. Unlike the dried dices, which are a snack, this is a powder made for mixing — into smoothies, yoghurt, face packs and marinades. Papaya naturally contains papain, an enzyme that breaks down protein. It is why papaya has traditionally been rubbed onto meat as a tenderiser, and why it turns up so often in home skincare.
