A2 Cow Ghee

4.3out of 5
Our A2 Cow Ghee is slow-cooked from the curd of desi cow milk using the traditional bilona method, in small batches that protect its golden colour and unmistakable aroma. Churning curd rather than cream is the slower route, and it is what gives this ghee its grainy texture and deep, roasted-milk fragrance. A staple of Indian kitchens and Ayurvedic tradition for centuries, ghee carries a high smoke point that makes it as suited to tempering spices as it is to finishing dal, drizzling over rotis or folding into sweets.

How to Use
- Tempering (tadka) for dal, curries and rice dishes
- Everyday cooking, sautéing and deep-frying, thanks to its high smoke point
- Spread warm over rotis, parathas and dosas
- Folded into halwa, laddoo and other traditional sweets
- Stirred into warm milk at night, as is customary in Ayurvedic households
- Used in abhyanga self-massage and traditional lamp lighting
Directions of Use
- Use 1–2 teaspoons per serving in everyday cooking.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Always use a clean, dry spoon — moisture shortens shelf life.
- Refrigeration is not required; ghee naturally solidifies in cooler weather and turns liquid in warmth. Both states are normal.
- Grainy crystallisation is a sign of genuine bilona ghee, not a defect.
